Duties,

• Presents self with a professional appearance and behaviour.
• Senior DD’s are to hold a tour without supervision.
• Performs kick-offs under difficult situations (deep, high angle, and with anti-collision risks).
• Perform directional drilling duties as a senior or assistant driller with competence and sound decisions.

Candidate,

• Have previous drilling and oil field experience in assistant or senior driller positions.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional analytical capabilities.
• Meets and maintains all minimum Safety Training requirements.

• Setting up, operating and maintaining MWD tools (EM, Mud Pulse) and surface equipment.
• This includes depth tracking equipment, logging software and gamma equipment.
• Troubleshoot MWD equipment on site and in the shop as necessary.
• Mobilize equipment and ensure MWD kit is operational when needed.
• Ensure logs, data and reports are delivered on time and with proficiency.
• Use tools and processes for proper tool maintenance to avoid tool failure.
• Rig-in and rig-out surface equipment at the well site

Candidate,

• Have a strong willingness to learn new technologies.
• Ability to troubleshoot computer communication (COM) ports to connect equipment.
• Willingness to work in remote areas for weeks at a time.
• Have a competent mechanical aptitude.
• Be level headed and have a calm demeanour under pressure and maintain a good attitude while working closely with others.
• Meets and maintains all minimum Safety Training requirements.
